Matthew Dorry graduated from Rutgers University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. During his undergrad studies, he interned and volunteered for the domestic violence agency of Middlesex County and participated in domestic violence hearings as a court advocate. He graduated Cum Laude and obtained his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Dorry participated with in two mock trial competitions with the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. He was recognized for his community service actions during his time in law school. Mr. Dorry is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar association.
Mr. Dorry was a Municipal Prosecutor for approximately twenty municipalities for three years prior to joining Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall. Mr. Dorry has handled thousands of Drunk driving, criminal, traffic and municipal ordinance matters. His practice focuses on criminal defense, drink driving and restraining order matters. Mr. Dorry received training on the prosecution of alcohol and drug-related drunk driving offenses, administered by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and New Jersey State Police. He has participated in multiple trials as prosecutor before he joined the firm. Further, he has assisted Monmouth and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office in the prosecution of criminal and drunk driving matters.
