Brick Municipal Court Information

Brick Municipal Court is located at 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick Township, NJ 08723. The operating hours of the municipal court offices are Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM, and it can be reached in person or over the telephone at 732-262-1226 during those hours. Michelle A. Lawrence is the Court Administrator who oversees daily operations of the office. Honorable Joseph D. Grisanti. is the judge that is responsible for all proceedings in the Brick Township Municipal Court. His authority is limited to deciding disorderly persons offenses, traffic tickets and municipal ordinance violations. All crimes of the first degree, second degree, third degree and fourth degree fall outside the municipal court’s jurisdiction and are referred to the Ocean County Superior Court for disposition. Burglary, heroin possession, MDMA offenses, theft by deception and aggravated assault are all examples of charges outside the court’s power to decide. Matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Brick Municipal Court are handled in sessions conducted by Judge Grisanti on the following days:

  • Monday at 4:00PM (1st, 3rd & 4th Monday of the month)
  • Tuesday at 9:00PM (2nd Tuesday of the month for Mediation only)
  • Wednesday at 9:00AM
  • Thursday at 4:00PM
