READY TO FIGHT FOR YOU
DWI Offense
Toms River NJ DUI Lawyer
DWI is one of more serious offenses handled in municipal court. This charge is also referred to as driving while intoxicated (“DWI”) or driving under the influence (“DUI”). All of these terms refer to operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration (“BAC”) of .08% or higher or while impaired by drugs. A conviction for DWI or DUI results in mandatory penalties that always include a suspension of your driver’s license with no ability to secure conditional privileges to drive to work, to school or to transport a dependent. When you consider this in tandem with the fact that there is no ability to plea bargain a downgrade or dismissal without a legitimate legal basis, it reinforces just how pivotal it is to mount an effective defense. Selecting a highly skilled DWI defense lawyer is your best weapon in achieving this objective.
